After our past success Colonel Frank Seely School has once again been asked to take part in Macmillan Cancer Relief’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning 2014. This event gives schools all over the UK the chance to raise money for people living with cancer.
To help Macmillan raise this year’s target, we have decided to hold a coffee morning, which will be run by Year 7 students. The coffee morning will be on Friday 26th September 2014 between 9.15 and 10.45 am in the Colonel’s Café, Lower School building, and we hope you will be able to attend.
This year we are raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief in memory of Amy Hall who tragically lost her fight with leukaemia at the end of the summer term. Mrs McKenzie, Mr Gray and Year 10 will be running additional events in support of this fundraising event.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning gives young people at Colonel Frank Seely School the chance to make a real difference to people living with cancer and their families.
Please help us support this vital cause by joining us at our coffee morning and helping to raise as much money as possible! If you are able to attend please contact Jo Cairney, Catering Manager or the School Reception.
