Charity Show in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust at CFS

On Wednesday 8 February 2017, pupils at Colonel Frank Seely School put on their annual Charity Show. Over 30 pupils from Years 7 – 13 all performed and acts included singers, ballet dancers, comedians and rock bands.

The event raised almost £300 for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the audience enjoyed every minute of it. “This is a great opportunity for pupils to perform on stage, to a live audience and raise money for a great cause at the same time” said Mrs Turner, Head of Music.

Harry Payne (Year 12) and Maddie Dixon (Year 13) acted as compares for the show. Stand out performances came from Annabel Harley, Year 9, who sang and played piano for “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys, and from Joseph Cardwell in Year 7 who did a stand-up comedy routine.

Pupils are now looking forward to preparing for the Colonel Frank Seely Summer Music Concert in July.
