A message from the Acting Head and Deputy Headteacher

A warm welcome to the new school year from the Acting Head and Deputy Headteacher.

Can we both extend our sincere good wishes to all our parents, carers, pupils and indeed everyone interested in our school.

The summer has seen some important changes within the staff body and we feel confident that we are well placed to provide an even better, enjoyable and ultimately successful experience for all our pupils. Early feedback from your children confirms that we have recruited very wisely over the Summer.

The school’s Senior Leadership team comprise a cohesive, experienced and skilled team, fully committed to securing continued improvement and development. Our aim is to inspire confident learners who will thrive in a changing world.

We are committed to providing the best quality education for our pupils from the day they arrive in Year 7 to the fulfilment of their educational journey. Our A Level results this year were the best ever achieved. 28% of our results were graded A* or A and 47% at grades A*-B. Additionally, the average points score per student was 768 an increase of 55 points!

We always welcome your feedback on all that we do and wholeheartedly believe every pupils’ time here at Colonel Frank Seely School is an enjoyable experience where they reach their maximum potential.
